Residents in Lacombe, Alberta, can browse fresh food and handmade items this weekend as the Lacombe Farmers Market returns for a special indoor event. The doors open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Lacombe Memorial Centre.

This early-season market will host 67 small-business vendors featuring a variety of local products. Visitors can expect to find fresh produce, artisanal baked goods and handmade crafts inside Centennial Hall. Organizers say nearly all vendor spots have been filled, with only limited spaces remaining, illustrating strong interest from local sellers and makers.

The event is organized under the Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market program (Alberta Agriculture and Forestry), which requires that a minimum of 80 percent of vendors — and generally the products they sell — be produced in Alberta by the vendor (made, baked or grown in Alberta). The Lacombe Farmers Market has been part of the community since 1979 and is recognized under that approved-market program.

Located at 5214 50 Avenue, the market is expected to bring more people to the downtown area on Saturday morning.

Organizers say parking at the Lacombe Memorial Centre is free for visitors, but they expect the lot to be very busy shortly after the doors open.
