The Lacombe Performing Arts Centre in Lacombe, Alberta, will host a special photography exhibit featuring the work of local artists under the age of 18 starting February 2, 2026. The show is part of the province-wide Exposure Photography Festival and runs until March 22, 2026.

Residents can meet the young photographers during a public opening reception on February 7, 2026. The event takes place from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the centre.

The photos will be displayed in the Cooper Roofing Studios Youth Art Gallery, which is a dedicated space in the downstairs hallway of the building. This gallery was created specifically to give young people a professional place to show their art to the community.

Executive Director Rosanna Kerekes said the centre aims to be a hub where everyone can create and work together. By joining the larger photography festival, the local youth will have their work seen alongside professional photographers from across the province.

The display follows a recent exhibit about the healing power of photography that was featured on CFWE. The current show focuses on the creativity of teenagers and children from across Central Alberta.
