The City of Leduc, Alberta, launched its annual Budget Planning and Citizen Satisfaction Survey on February 25, 2026, to help officials decide how to spend local tax dollars. The survey asks residents for their opinions on the quality of life in the community and which municipal services should be a priority for the coming year.

Starting March 2, 2026, every home in the community will receive a postcard in the mail containing a unique code to access the online survey. Residents have until March 31, 2026, to share their thoughts and can enter a draw for a $150 gift card to a local business.

The City of Leduc uses the feedback to help the mayor and council set priorities for the 2027 budget. This survey arrives after the city approved a 3.8 per cent property tax increase for 2026 and a 3.5 per cent increase in 2025.

In previous years, about 72 per cent of residents said they were happy with city programs, according to the City of Leduc. People living in the area typically give the highest ratings to services like waste collection and recreation facilities.
