Families in Lincoln, Ontario, can enjoy a free afternoon of skating and crafts this Family Day on February 16, 2026. The Town of Lincoln is hosting the event at the Fleming Centre (5020 Serena Dr., Beamsville) as part of its PlayLincoln recreation programming to provide residents with a no-cost way to celebrate the holiday together.
The event begins with hands-on craft activities for children from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the community rooms. A free public skate for all ages and skill levels will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fleming Centre arena.
These activities are part of the PlayLincoln program, which focuses on keeping the community active and connected. By removing fees for these activities, the town aims to make it easier for families to gather at a local hub.
Mayor Sandra Easton said the Town of Lincoln’s 2026 Budget was designed to prioritize affordability and the delivery of quality services. The town continues to offer these holiday programs—including free skates and seasonal activities—to ensure residents have accessible options for entertainment and social bonding throughout the year.
