On the morning of February 7, 2026, a minor collision occurred at about 7:00 a.m. at the Highway 403 and Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway interchange in Hamilton, briefly delaying commuters travelling between the Town of Lincoln (Niagara region) and Hamilton.
Ontario 511 reported the lanes on the westbound ramp were cleared by about 7:15 a.m. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) — Highway Safety Division responded to the scene; traffic updates were also posted by OPP GTA Traffic (X: @OPP_GTATraffic).
No injuries were reported in the minor multi-vehicle collision. While the 403/Linc interchange is known as a busy merging point and recurring congestion spot, the rapid clearance limited the disruption to the morning commute.
The City of Hamilton monitors road conditions on the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway, while Highway 403 and its ramps are under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO). Drivers were able to resume their regular routes shortly after the lanes reopened.
