The Almonte Pakenham Minor Hockey Association (APMHA) reached a significant milestone this week in Mississippi Mills, Ontario, by recording its 200th combined win of the 2025–2026 season. The total represents the collective success of all teams competing under the “Thunder” moniker, spanning divisions from U7 through U18.
The association officially updated its season record to 200 wins, 62 losses, and 26 ties. This high number of victories serves as a point of pride for the local hockey community as the winter season moves toward its conclusion. The milestone follows the community’s recent bicentennial celebrations, which marked the 200th anniversary of Almonte’s settlement.
The milestone comes at a busy time for the association as several teams begin their playoff rounds. Groups in the U11 and U13 categories, including the U13 Tier 1, U13 Tier 2, and U11 Tier 2 teams, are among those starting their final series of games to decide the season winners.
