The Municipality of Mississippi Mills, Ontario, is now accepting applications for the second round of its 2026 Community Impact Grant Program. Local volunteer groups and non-profit organizations have until March 15, 2026, to apply for funding or support for upcoming community projects.
The program offers seven different ways to get help, ranging from a $200 Neighbourhood Micro Grant to a larger Partnership Grant providing up to $15,000. Other options include the Spark Grant for up to $1,000 and the Impact Grant for up to $5,000, as well as in-kind support like municipal labour or facility use valued at up to $2,000.
Earlier this year, the Mississippi Mills Council approved a total of $74,550 for various local initiatives during the first round of the program. This new two-round model was officially approved on September 23, 2025, to offer more flexibility for events and projects that happen later in the year.
Organizations that already applied during the first intake can still apply for certain categories, such as the Live Local Activation Grant or Spark Grant. New applicants who did not participate in the first round are eligible for all seven categories to help launch local activities or services in their community.
