The Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority is hosting its March Break Adventure Camp for local youth at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area in Mississippi Mills, Ontario. The 2026 program is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 12 who want to spend their school break exploring the outdoors.

Daily camp hours will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and offer a supervised setting for nature-based learning. The program focuses on providing children with physical activity and environmental education during the winter season.

Participants will take part in various outdoor activities including snowshoeing, building shelters, and tracking local animals. The curriculum also includes tree identification and adventurous games held throughout the conservation area trail system.

Registration for the 2026 session is currently open, but spaces are limited and expected to fill up quickly. This camp is part of a series of educational programs aimed at connecting youth with the local watershed through hands-on experience.
