Residents in Morden, Manitoba, can now purchase printed programs for the 2026 Morden Festival of the Arts to help plan their visits to upcoming student performances. These programs are available for $5.00 each at Morden Pharmasave and the Morden Branch of the South Central Regional Library.
Buying a program serves as a fundraiser for the Morden Festival of the Arts to help keep entry fees as low as possible for local students. The festival committee uses these funds to ensure the event remains accessible for all young performers in the community.
The first set of performances begins with the strings category from March 8, 2026, to March 10, 2026, at St. Paul’s United Church. Piano and sacred evening sessions will take place from March 22, 2026, to March 24, 2026, at Westside Community Church.
General admission to attend the sessions is typically $2.00 for adults, while children can watch the performances for free. The season will conclude with a Highlights Concert on May 3, 2026, which will also be held at Westside Community Church.
The volunteer-run organization is currently looking for community members to help fill coordinator roles for several categories, including strings, vocal, and speech arts. Residents who purchase a program will be able to see full performance times and the names of all local participants.
