Morden, Manitoba, will host a community spring flea market on March 28, 2026, to help residents find local deals and unique items as the winter ends. The event will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Organizers say more than 14 vendors are expected to set up shop inside the hall, which is located at 285 North Railway St. The final vendor list was still being finalized as of Feb. 4, 2026. Shoppers can browse a variety of goods including vintage clothing, antiques, and collectibles from local sellers.

The market will feature local writers; organizers say some participating authors are affiliated with regional author groups such as the Manitoba Writers’ Guild (membership of individual authors pending confirmation). This gives residents a chance to meet authors from the area and buy books directly from the people who wrote them.

Entry to the sale is free, making it an affordable way for neighbours to get out and shop while supporting small home-based businesses. The City of Morden community calendar lists the sale (date and venue).

Community volunteers organized the market to help residents connect and support the local economy. The event provides a physical storefront for makers who typically only sell their goods through social media or small home businesses.
