The Neepawa Rotary Club in Neepawa, Manitoba, has named Gwen Jacobsen as its president for the upcoming term beginning July 1, 2026. Jacobsen is a familiar face in the community and has previously spent time as a news reader for Neepawa Access Community Television.
She will take over the leadership role from current president Rrain Prior. This change comes at a busy time for the local group as members prepare to host the Rotary District 5550 Conference in May 2026, which brings representatives from across the region to the community.
The club currently has a strong connection to regional leadership through Wayne Jacobsen, who is serving as the District Governor for the area. This local involvement helps the club manage its various projects, such as maintaining Rotary Park and supporting youth exchange programs.
