The Neepawa & District Chamber of Commerce is looking for local residents to help run two of the town’s biggest community events in Neepawa, Manitoba. Volunteers are needed for the Annual Chamber Fair happening from May 29 to May 31, 2026, and the Parade of Lights taking place on November 28, 2026.

People who sign up to help with the spring fair can choose from several specific jobs. These roles include working in the beer gardens, helping with car parking, setting up and taking down equipment, or working at the information booth. The fair is the main way the organization raises money for the year, and because local businesses sponsor the event, admission is free for the public.

For the winter parade in November, the Neepawa & District Chamber of Commerce is looking for parade marshals and people to act as Santa’s helpers. This year is the first full cycle of events led by the new executive director, Becca Lanutan, who took over the position in early 2026.

Organizers say that the work provided by local residents is what keeps these festivals running every year. Those interested in signing up for a shift can find more details about specific times and duties through the Chamber website.
