The New Hamburg Firefighters’ Association will host a community breakfast in late March 2026 to raise money for local programs in New Hamburg, Ontario. The event, known as the Breakfast Club, is the association’s first major service event of 2026 and serves as a fundraiser for community initiatives.

Families are invited to visit Station 1 at 100 Snyder’s Rd W to eat a meal (typically including pancakes, eggs and sausages) served by volunteer firefighters. The station’s apparatus bays will be cleared to create an open dining area where neighbours can sit together and meet the volunteers who serve the Township of Wilmot.

Proceeds from the Breakfast Club typically support local community programs, youth services and regional health charities. The New Hamburg Firefighters’ Association is an independent, volunteer-led group that runs fundraising activities separate from the municipal tax-funded budget.

The breakfast also provides an opportunity for residents to see fire equipment up close and learn about fire prevention. The station remains on an active, on-call status during the event, so firefighters and vehicles may need to leave quickly if an emergency call arrives. Additional information about local safety programs is available through Wilmot Fire Education.
