Public skating, shinny and gym sessions at the Magna Centre begin January 5, Recreation Youth Centre programs start January 6, and Denne Public School listings begin January 16. Most Newmarket facilities will close early on December 24 and remain closed on December 25, 26 and January 1. Public skating, shinny and gym drop-ins at the Magna Centre (800 Mulock Drive) kick off January 5. All drop-in programs require an Xplor Recreation account and bookings are managed through the Town’s Xplor portal.
The Town’s switch to the Xplor Recreation system removes waitlist options for pre-registered drop-in programs (such as Aqua Fitness, Group Fit, Badminton and Pickleball). Users must have active Xplor accounts and monitor availability in real time: sessions fill to capacity and new spots typically only appear if someone cancels.
