Pickering College in Newmarket, Ontario, will hold an Open House on Saturday, January 31, 2026, inviting families of Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 to tour campus programs and meet teachers and student ambassadors. The event is scheduled with a Junior School session beginning at 10 a.m. and a Middle and Senior School session beginning at 1 p.m., giving prospective students a firsthand look at academic offerings ahead of September 2026 enrollment.

The day includes guided tours of the recently opened West Lake House academic hub, where visitors can see the school’s new 50,000‑square‑foot facility — including specialized science labs, a high‑tech makerspace and a dining facility. Families will also learn about the school’s signature Global Leadership Program, which the school says is integrated from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 and emphasizes leadership, community service and character development. Current students will share their experiences and answer questions about life on campus, including involvement with 102.7 CHOP FM, the school’s CRTC‑licensed community FM radio station.

Founded in 1842 with roots in Quaker values, Pickering College now welcomes more than 400 day and boarding students and is a member of the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS). The campus sits on 42 acres overlooking Newmarket and the school reports a 100% university placement rate. School leaders say the Open House offers families a chance to compare independent school environments and evaluate facilities, curriculum flexibility and class sizes before making enrollment decisions.

Prospective families can register for the Open House via the official Pickering College website. Registration is required to secure a spot on the guided tours and in‑depth program sessions. More information about admissions and campus life is available online.
