Parents and caregivers of young children in Niverville, Manitoba, can access free support and advice during a Healthy Baby drop-in session on February 17, 2026. The event, organized by Southern Health-Santé Sud, will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Niverville Community Fellowship.

The session is open to families with children from birth up to age five and does not require any prior registration. It offers a mix of supervised play activities for children, nutritional guidance, and parenting advice from health professionals like nurses and dietitians. People attending for the first time should bring their Manitoba Health Card to the session.

The Niverville Community Fellowship is located at 85 Second Street South, at the corner of 2nd Avenue South and 2nd Street South. The building features on-site parking to make it easier for families with young children to attend.

Pregnant individuals and families with infants up to six months old can also receive milk coupons through the program. This initiative is supported by the Healthy Child Coalition – South East to provide a continuous support system for child development and healthy growth before children start school.

The Town of Niverville supports these sessions to provide local health and community services for its growing population. By hosting the event in town, organizers give residents access to important resources close to home without the need to travel to larger centres.
