The 27th annual Orangeville and District Music Festival will take place from April 27 to April 29, 2026, at Westminster United Church in Orangeville, Ontario. This long-running event provides a non-competitive stage for local music students of all levels to perform and learn from professionals.
According to the Orangeville and District Music Festival, the event focuses on providing performance opportunities and professional feedback rather than rankings. A volunteer committee of local residents, including a registrar and proctors, manages the three-day festival to support the artistic growth of youth in the community.
This year’s event features three professional adjudicators who will offer guidance to the participants. Arianne Ewing-Chow and Dennis Hahn will work with piano and strings students, while Irene Ilic will provide feedback for voice and choral performances.
Following the main festival, the community is invited to a Gala Concert on May 11, 2026. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM at Westminster United Church to celebrate the hard work and musical achievements of the local performers.
