The Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police has announced that a 16-year-old girl missing from Orangeville, Ontario, has been located safe. Harleen, who was last seen on March 9, 2026, was found following a public appeal for assistance.
Investigators had initially reported that Harleen was last seen on Sherbourne Street at approximately 6:00 p.m. that evening. She later sent a text message at 9:00 p.m. from the area of Broadway and First Street.
She was described as a South Asian girl who is five-feet-seven-inches tall with a slim build and brown hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing a maroon hoodie and blue jeans.
The Dufferin OPP thanked the public and business owners in the area for their assistance and for checking security cameras during the search. The case, originally filed under police file number E260316968, is now considered closed.
