Prospective students are invited to Durham College’s Program Information Night on Monday, January 20, 2026, at the Oshawa Campus — 2000 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, ON. The event is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., offering a final opportunity to explore academic paths for the May and September 2026 intakes before the February 1 Equal Consideration deadline. Applications received by that date are given equal consideration; after Feb. 1, programs are filled on a first‑come, first‑served basis and highly competitive programs may fill quickly.

The evening features guided campus tours and program-specific sessions led by faculty experts from the college’s nine academic faculties, including Business, Health Sciences and Science & Engineering Technology. Attendees can also speak with the Student Recruitment Team about the Ontario Colleges Application Service and visit the Financial Aid & Student Services booth for information on OSAP, scholarships and bursaries.

High school seniors, mature learners and international residents are encouraged to attend to ask questions about course content, career pathways and admission requirements. Registration is open online via the Program Information Night – Oshawa page on the Durham College website; confirm the live event page for registration details and to verify whether there is a registration fee.

A similar event for the Whitby campus is scheduled for January 21, 2026.

This event represents a last major opportunity for local applicants to tour facilities and speak one-on-one with instructors before the February 1 deadline. With more than 145 programs available across Durham College’s faculties — including a recently introduced AI graduate certificate (Artificial Intelligence Analysis, Design and Implementation) and other technology-focused programs — students can make informed choices and submit applications on time to seek a place in May and September 2026 intakes.
