The Gimli RCMP is asking for help to find 56-year-old David Jonasson, who was last seen in the Peguis First Nation, Manitoba, area on February 26, 2026. Local police received the report that he was missing on March 8, 2026, and are now looking for assistance from the public.
Mr. Jonasson is described as five feet seven inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has grey hair and brown eyes, and police believe he may be traveling in a borrowed 2018 Ford F-150 truck.
The Southern Chiefs’ Organization is helping to share information about the search to help locate him. Both his family and the police have expressed that they are very concerned for his well-being.
Anyone with information about where Mr. Jonasson might be is encouraged to contact the Gimli RCMP. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers for those who wish to remain unidentified.
