City of Pembroke Posts 2026 Summer Student Job Openings

The City of Pembroke, Ontario, is accepting applications for its 2026 Summer Student Employment Program, offering temporary roles across Parks and Recreation, Operations and Planning & Building, the Pembroke Fire Department, Administration, Economic Development and Treasury. Students aged 15–30 at the start of employment must apply by January 30, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (local time) to help maintain Riverside Park, the marina and other municipal services over the summer months.

Available positions include recreation aides for day camps, marina attendants, engineering and environmental technician placements in Operations and Planning, and support roles in administration, marketing/communications and treasury. Positions are scheduled to run from May through September 2026 and provide hands‑on experience in municipal operations and community events. All hiring is contingent on federal Canada Summer Jobs grant approval.
