The Perth Blue Wings will return to the ice at the Perth District Community Centre on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., kicking off the first home game of the new year in the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL).
The game also introduces the team’s updated 2025–26 admission fees. Adults will pay $12, seniors 65 and over $10, and students 11 and up $10. Children aged 10 and under get in free with a paying adult, according to the Perth Blue Wings official website.
The Blue Wings reshaped their lineup with a series of June trades ahead of the 2025–26 season. The club’s roster also includes goaltender Jackson Pundyk, who previously played with the Red Lake Miners and joined Perth in prior seasons; Pundyk’s recent form will be under the spotlight as the club aims for consistency in net.
Perth has won the Barkley Cup twice, in 2019 and 2023. The club rejoined the EOJHL in 2020 and remains a top contender in the Richardson Division alongside rivals such as the Athens Aeros and the Smiths Falls Jr. Bears.
Tickets for Friday’s game are available at the arena box office under the new pricing model. Fans are encouraged to arrive early; check the team’s official channels or the box office for any promotions or family activities planned for the night.
