Studio Theatre Perth in Perth, Ontario, has rolled out a preview of its 2026 season on its website, kicking off on January 10, 2026, with a concert by the six-piece folk/Americana band Buffalo Rose. The online update, which appeared on the theatre’s homepage in December 2025, follows the full announcement of the 2025 mainstage season and signals the theatre’s move to a more flexible “Play Pass” ticketing model.

In addition to Buffalo Rose, the preview lineup includes “Film Club Fridays,” a series of TIFF Circuit screenings at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on select Fridays throughout 2026. These dates were added to the theatre’s homepage in early December 2025.

The new Play Pass replaces traditional season subscriptions and offers a range of ticket options, including a $12 rate for audience members aged 30 and under. Tickets and pass details are listed through TicketsPlease; availability should be checked on the theatre’s website or the TicketsPlease portal for the most current status.

Run entirely by volunteers under the Perth Theatre Project board, Studio Theatre Perth taps community members from actors to stage crew for every production. The theatre also serves as an official TIFF Circuit venue, strengthening its role as a cultural hub in Lanark County.
