The City of Pitt Meadows will host its annual Pride Concert on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, bringing the community together for an evening of live music and celebration.

The free event takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at šxʷhék̓ʷnəs (Spirit Square), located at 11985 Harris Road. This year, the concert will feature the Stephen Scaccia Band, with drag queen and performer Carrie Dawn serving as the emcee.

This concert marks the fourth or fifth consecutive year the city has organized a Pride celebration, an initiative that has become a staple of the local summer event lineup. The event is part of the city’s broader summer programming at the square, which also includes the upcoming Farmers Market, running Tuesdays from June 9 to September 29, along with Summer Serenade and Bard on the Bandstand performances.

The venue for the concert, šxʷhék̓ʷnəs, is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) First Nation. The square serves as a central hub for community gatherings and features a Place of Reflection situated beside the Katzie First Nation flag, providing a dedicated space for reconciliation and remembrance.
