Students from Port Colborne High School brought home three medals following their participation in the 2026 Skills Ontario competition held May 4-5 at the Toronto Congress Centre. Out of five students who qualified to represent the school at the provincial event, three secured spots on the podium among more than 2,000 competitors across more than 75 different skilled trades and technology contests.
In the Team Carpentry category, Tyce Thibault and Colin Rogers earned gold medals for their performance. Additionally, Dhillyn Richardson was awarded a bronze medal in the Individual Carpentry competition. This result follows Richardson’s previous success at the 2025 provincial event, where he earned a silver medal in the same individual category.
