The Town of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, has opened applications for its Community Investment Program (formerly the Community Grant Program), which provides funding for local groups and residents undertaking community projects. Applications for the Community Investment Program will be accepted until Tuesday, February 3, 2026; the town typically runs two application cycles per calendar year.
The program provides money to individuals, non-profit groups, and community organizations based in Quispamsis or the Greater Saint John area that serve Quispamsis residents. Funding is intended to support activities that enhance local quality of life—examples include arts festivals, youth sports and other community activities that the town does not run directly.
In previous years the town has supported the Music in the Park and Movies in the Park summer series at the Arts and Culture Park and has helped host major sporting events (for example, the 2024 National Women’s U18 Championship). The program also helps organizations such as KidSport New Brunswick, which provides grants so children facing financial barriers can participate in registered sport programs.
“Each year, as part of its budget process, Town Council will review and consider applications for funding,” the town notes. Local groups and individuals can complete applications online via the Town of Quispamsis website or pick up paper copies at Town Hall (12 Landing Court).
