The Town of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, is holding an information session on March 17, 2026, for residents who are interested in running for local office. The meeting is designed to help potential candidates learn about the rules for joining the race and what life is like as a member of the local government.

The session will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Quispamsis Town Hall, which is located at 12 Landing Court. People who attend will get details on how to register as a candidate and learn about the responsibilities of serving as Mayor or a town councillor.

The presentation will cover how the town manages its services and what is expected of people once they are elected. After the information session ends, the town is inviting residents to stay for the regular council meeting at 6:00 p.m. to see how the group makes decisions for the community.

This event is being held to prepare for the upcoming municipal elections held across the province by Elections New Brunswick. Voters will go to the polls to choose their local leaders on May 11, 2026.
