The Town of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, has officially opened the nomination period for its 2026 Volunteer Recognition Awards. Residents have until Monday, April 6, 2026, to submit names of individual volunteers who have made a positive impact on the community.

The awards are designed to honour the hard work of local volunteers, including those active within community groups, schools, and churches. These individuals are essential for running local programs, sports teams, and various town services.

The Quispamsis Town Council will host a special in-person ceremony to present the awards on April 21, 2026. Mayor Libby O’Hara and Deputy Mayor Mary Schryer will recognize the winners just before the regular council meeting starts.

Nominations can be sent to Town Hall or submitted through email using the town’s official form. This yearly tradition helps highlight the local residents whose efforts support the town’s social and recreational activities.
