Residents in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, can soon enjoy a glowing nighttime stroll as the Trail of Hearts illuminated walk opens on February 8, 2026. This free attraction is part of the yearly Fundy Winterfest and will be located on the trails around the QPlex, the town’s multi-purpose recreation complex.

The installation features heart-themed light displays and bright pathways along the Saunder’s Brook and Matthew’s Cove trail loops. Families can find the QPlex trails at 20 Randy Jones Way in Quispamsis.

No registration or tickets are needed to visit the display, which is meant to help people stay active and enjoy the fresh air during the cold winter months. The installation will be open nightly (evenings/dusk) through February 21, 2026.

This local event is part of a regional partnership between six municipalities — Rothesay, Quispamsis, Hampton, Saint John, Grand Bay–Westfield and St. Martins — that together present Fundy Winterfest. The broader festival runs from January 17 to March 8, 2026, to encourage neighbours to connect across the region.
