The forecast for Monday, July 13, 2026 calls for sunny skies becoming a mix of sun and cloud in the afternoon, with southeast winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40 km/h and a high of 24 C. As of 1:00 PM MDT, conditions at the Red Deer Regional Airport showed sunny skies, a temperature of 20.7 C, 48 per cent humidity, and southeast winds gusting to 41 km/h.
Tuesday will be sunny with a high of 26 C, although cloud cover is expected to increase near noon. The UV index is forecast at 8, which is very high. Residents are advised to take full sun protection measures, including wearing sunglasses, applying sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, and seeking shade during midday hours. A hat with a wide brim and protective clothing are also recommended.
Wednesday will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 25 C. Sunny skies return Thursday with a high of 28 C. Friday and Saturday are also expected to be sunny with highs of 28 C and 29 C respectively. The normal high for this time of year is 23 C, with overnight lows around 10 C. With sunrise at 5:29 a.m. and sunset at 9:52 p.m., residents can enjoy over 16 hours of daylight.
