Families in Red Deer, Alberta, can sign their kids up for indoor soccer starting August 1, 2026. The Red Deer City Soccer Association runs the youth house league and competitive teams, and the fall and winter season keeps children active when outdoor fields are closed.
The indoor programs are open to a wide range of youth players. Registration happens online at rdcsa.powerupsports.com. More details on age groups, schedules, and fees will be posted on the club’s website.
For players wanting a higher level of competition, evaluations for the Red Deer Renegades competitive teams take place in early September 2026. The Renegades run competitive programs from U11 to U19, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams at U15 and above, developmental programs at U11 to U13, and a U9 Jr Renegades development program.
Most indoor games and practices happen at the Collicutt Centre Soccer Pavilion, which has two indoor pitches and allows year-round play. The association also uses Edgar Soccer Fields, McLean Street Soccer Park, and Westerner Park during the outdoor season.
The organization is the largest sporting group in Red Deer. Technical Director Jason Blake, who holds a UEFA Pro Licence and previously worked with Premier League clubs Burnley FC and AFC Bournemouth, joined in August 2025 to raise coaching standards across all programs.
