On Monday, February 16, 2026, the Regina Police Service arrested four people following a robbery in the 2300 block of 12th Avenue in Regina, Saskatchewan. The incident took place at approximately 5:30 p.m. during the Family Day holiday.

A 15-year-old boy and an adult woman were approached by a group that allegedly threatened to shoot the teenager. The suspects then used bear spray on the boy before stealing his jacket and fleeing the area.

Police officers arrived quickly and located four suspects within 15 minutes of the report. The police have charged Liam Favel, 20, Joseph Hastings, 18, and Conredge Threefingers, 22, along with a 16-year-old youth who cannot be named under the law.

All four individuals are facing robbery charges and made their first appearances in court on February 17, 2026. The incident happened in a busy downtown area where officials have been working to reduce the use of bear spray as a weapon.

While crimes against people in the city dropped by 14 per cent in 2025, local police continue to prioritize enforcement against violent street-level incidents. These arrests are part of a broader effort to keep the downtown core safe for residents and businesses.
