Regina Pats Beat Broncos After Major Comeback in Shootout

The Regina Pats defeated the Swift Current Broncos 7-6 in a shootout on February 16, 2026, at the Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. The team recovered from two separate three-goal deficits to secure their fourth straight victory and improve their position in the standings.

Regina trailed 3-0 early in the game and was down 6-3 midway through the second period before beginning their rally. Maddox Schultz scored the game-tying goal with only 41 seconds left in the second period, which led to a scoreless third period and overtime period.

The game was finally decided in the seventh round of the shootout when Zachary Lansard scored the winning goal. Forward Keets Fawcett led the offense with one goal and two assists, while both teams used two different goaltenders during the high-scoring game.
