The Ottawa Valley Titans U18 AAA hockey team earned a 3–1 win on January 14, 2026, with several Renfrew-area players playing a major role in the victory. The game was defined by a disciplined defensive performance that limited the opposing team’s scoring chances.

Local athletes Hunter Sim and Gavin Legree were among the key contributors on the ice; the Titans’ goaltending provided the steady presence in net needed to secure the win. Tyler McEnery also helped anchor the defensive unit and helped keep the lead safe throughout the match.

Head coach Braden Spencer led the team with an emphasis on preparing these young athletes for the standards required to move to the next level of hockey. According to league data and team reports (HEO GameSheet/OVT reporting), the Titans used a structured style of play to capitalize on their chances and maintain mid-season momentum.

Residents can catch the Titans at regional rinks that host the team’s home dates, such as the Ma-te-Way Activity Centre and the Nick Smith Centre in Arnprior. For full player statistics and schedules, fans can consult Elite Prospects and follow local coverage on Renfrew Today; the team’s official site and the HEO GameSheet are the primary sources for rosters and game boxscores.
