The Rimbey Municipal Library has established a formal weekly and monthly program schedule for all ages at 4938 – 50th Avenue, Rimbey. Residents can now plan ahead for book discussions, storytimes, tech support and more.

The full lineup is posted on the library’s programs page and includes Book Club on the first Tuesday (1:30–3:00 p.m.), weekly preschool storytime (check the calendar for the current day and time), Tech Help Drop-In every Thursday (1:00–3:00 p.m.), Teen Gaming Night on the second Friday (6:00–8:00 p.m.) and Adult Craft Night on the last Thursday (6:30–8:30 p.m.). All events are free and open to the public. Some events may require advance registration — residents should confirm details on the library’s programs page or by phone before attending.

Library Manager Jean Keetch says the regular schedule supports the library’s goal of becoming a community hub following its 4,300-square-foot expansion completed in 2022. “We believe that it is important for people to have a place where they can belong,” Keetch said, reflecting the library’s Plan of Service. The fixed calendar also responds to community needs for digital literacy, youth engagement and early childhood literacy identified in recent local assessments.

For more information or to register, call 403-843-2841 or visit the library’s website. Dates and times are subject to change, so residents are encouraged to confirm upcoming sessions online or by phone before attending.
