The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a local discount store. The incident took place on February 20, 2026, at the Dollarama on Second Line West.
According to investigators, the suspect attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. When confronted by an employee, the individual reportedly pulled out a handgun before fleeing the scene.
The Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District has released surveillance images of the suspect to the public to assist in the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone who can identify the person to come forward.
