The summer concert series returns to the Selkirk Waterfront in Manitoba on June 6, 2026, featuring live music, food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment. Hosted by the City of Selkirk, the event kicks off the season with performances by country-rock artist Derek Peters and the Shania Twain tribute band, Forever & Always.
The free concert series continues throughout the summer along Superior Avenue, with scheduled events including Rock the Waterfront in July and Music on Manitoba in August. The Red River North Tourism group notes that attendees can enjoy food from local vendors during the performances. In the event of rain, the concerts will be moved to Memorial Hall.
This year’s series is supported by the primary sponsor, South Beach Casino & Resort, with additional support from media sponsor the Selkirk Record. Residents looking to attend are encouraged to visit the City of Selkirk Facebook page, where the city is hosting a giveaway for prizes, including a stay-and-play package at the casino. The package includes an overnight stay, food and beverage vouchers, free play, and late check-out at the resort located in Scanterbury.
