The Baseline Farmers Market in Sherwood Park, Alberta, will open its 2026 summer season on June 3, 2026, with new weekly hours. The market is moving its start time one hour earlier to give residents more time to shop for local goods on Wednesday afternoons.
The season will run every Wednesday until September 30, 2026, in the Home Depot parking lot at 390 Baseline Road. Shoppers can visit between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to find products from about 40 different vendors. Stalls usually feature items like fresh produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, and food trucks.
Managed by a local family for more than 20 years, the market is currently accepting vendor applications for the 2026 season. The event runs regardless of the weather, though it will close if there is lightning or high winds.
While this outdoor market serves the community during the summer, the Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market continues to operate year-round as a separate event with over 85 vendors. The move to an earlier 3:00 p.m. start for the Baseline location aligns with the hours of other local markets in the region.
