The 41st Annual Great Canadian Trade Fair & Sale returns to Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, Alberta, from April 10 to April 12, 2026. Hosted by the Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce, the three-day event will showcase over 300 exhibitor booths and a craft market featuring more than 100 artisans.
The event offers a variety of attractions for local shoppers, including a Renovation Hall and the Wholly Handmade craft market. A free Job Fair will also be held on Friday, April 10, to run concurrently with the main trade show. Admission is $5 per person or $10 for a family. Entry is free for children aged five and under, and seniors 55 and older can enter for free on the opening day.
Visitors are encouraged to use the free shuttle bus service provided by the local transit system, which will run between the Bethel Transit Terminal and the venue on Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12. Parking is expected to be busy as the community event, which first began in 1983, continues to be a major draw for the area.
While the trade fair is held in the county’s largest multi-purpose recreation centre, residents should be aware of temporary facility closures. To accommodate the setup and operation of the booths, the gymnasium and youth lounge at the facility will be closed starting April 8 at 4 p.m. and will remain inaccessible through the weekend.
