On February 1, 2026, the Simcoe Sabres U15 Rep team won a 4-0 home game against the Six Nations Blackhawks at Talbot Gardens in Simcoe, Ontario. The shutout provided momentum as the Sabres finish their regular season and prepare for regional playoff action.

The win was a group effort by the Simcoe Sabres, governed by the Simcoe Minor Hockey Association (SMHA). The team relied on disciplined defensive zone coverage and strong goaltending to keep Six Nations scoreless. Playing at the historic Talbot Gardens, the Sabres underlined the defensive play that has carried them through the 2025–26 season.

The game factored into Southern Counties standings as Simcoe works to secure favorable playoff positioning. Defeating long-time rivals Six Nations adds late-season momentum in an important matchup between familiar opponents.

According to the Simcoe Region Local League (SRLL), end-of-season tournaments (playoffs) begin the week of February 9, 2026. The Sabres will look to carry the momentum from this home win into those regional playoff rounds as they seek to advance toward OMHA provincial playdowns.
