The New Brunswick Fairs & Exhibitions Association has announced that the Southampton Summer Fair will return to Southampton, New Brunswick, from August 14 to 16, 2026. Dates were officially confirmed by the NBFEA on February 1, 2026. This annual event brings the community together for a weekend of agricultural displays, local food, and family entertainment.

Organized by the Southampton Agricultural Society in partnership with the NBFEA, the fair features livestock shows, horse pulls, and competitions for local youth in 4-H clubs. Residents use the early announcement to begin preparing their quilt and domestic-craft entries, baked goods, and farm animals for the various community exhibits.

The fair is a long-standing tradition in the Saint John River Valley that supports the local economy and showcases rural life. It serves as a homecoming for many families and is part of the province’s broader summer festival landscape.

Visitors can expect to see woodsmen competitions, tractor pulls, and performances by local musicians throughout the weekend. The event focuses on homegrown fun, highlighting the skills and crafts of people living in the Nackawic–Millville region.
