Students in Grades 11 and 12 at Spruce Grove Composite High School spent March 10, 2026, meeting with local employers to plan for life after graduation. The event took place in Spruce Grove, Alberta, and focused on showing young people the different types of work available to them in the local area.

The career fair was organized in partnership with the Acheson Business Association, which is an organization that supports businesses in the nearby Acheson industrial area. This group works to build connections between local companies and the community to help the regional economy grow.

The high school is part of the Parkland School Division and serves students in the senior grades. These events are designed to help students learn about the training and education they will need to secure a job in the future.

During the fair, students spoke directly with professionals about their daily work and potential job opportunities. This gave the students a better idea of how to plan their career paths before they finish high school.
