Starting Sunday, February 8, 2026, bus riders in Spruce Grove, Alberta, will see changes to their daily commute as Edmonton Transit Service (ETS), in partnership with the City of Spruce Grove, adjusts service frequency to better serve commuters and students during the winter.

ETS is changing how often buses run to match when most people are using them. These updates primarily affect Route 560, which operates between the Spruce Grove Transit Centre (50 Westwind Drive), adjacent to Heavy Metal Place, and downtown Edmonton and NAIT.

According to the City of Spruce Grove, the goal is to keep the busiest morning and afternoon trips reliable. Officials are using mid-winter ridership data to add capacity during peak hours and reduce mid-day trips when demand is lower.

Raven Radio Network reports that residents can use the city’s real-time bus map and trip-planning apps to see when their bus is expected to arrive. Commuters should verify their specific travel times before the changes take effect on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
