The Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Society (SGDAS) is hosting a formal fundraiser on February 21, 2026, to support local farming history and youth programs. The Winter Blooms Masquerade Gala will take place at the Spruce Grove Elks Hall in Spruce Grove, Alberta.

The evening features a four‑course, locally sourced dinner, an awards ceremony and a silent auction. Organizers encourage residents to wear masks for the masquerade theme; promotional materials indicate masks will be available at the door for guests who do not bring their own.

Money raised from the event will go toward a $25,000 target to restore the city’s 1958 grain elevator site and to fund 4‑H youth bursaries for the 2026–2027 academic year. The historic 1958 grain elevator is one of the few remaining ‘Twin Elevators’ in the province and requires specialized wood‑preservation and fire‑suppression work to remain open for school tours.

Tickets for the dinner are listed at $125 per person, with ticket sales closing on February 10, 2026. Local businesses can support the gala through sponsorships or by donating items to the silent auction; organizers list additional event details on the Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Society website and (where available) the City of Spruce Grove events calendar — confirm the correct calendar URL before directing readers there.

Organizers say the gala is intended to connect the growing city with its farming roots while honouring leaders in the agricultural community. The Alberta Agricultural Societies Program is cited in organizers’ materials as supporting events that help local societies maintain historical sites and educational programs.
