On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, the St. Thomas Police Service charged three teenagers after a violent attack at a local arena in St. Thomas, Ontario. One person was injured and needed medical treatment after being punched and knocked to the ground.
Police say the victim was hit in the head and then assaulted by several people at once while on the ground. Three suspects were identified and arrested following the investigation into the fight.
An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl have both been charged with assault. A 15-year-old boy also faces a charge of assault, along with charges for being intoxicated in public and having cannabis while under the age of 19.
All three of the accused were released from custody and are expected to appear in court at a later date. The incident has raised concerns among residents regarding safety and conduct at local sports centres.
