Registration Opens For St. Thomas Charity Curling Event

Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas–Elgin is now signing up teams for its 55th annual Curl For Kids Sake fundraiser on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in St. Thomas, Ontario. This long-running event raises funds for local mentoring programs that connect adult volunteers with young people who need support in the community.

The fundraiser will be held at the St. Thomas Curling Club (38 Parkside Dr) and will feature a festive Irish theme timed ahead of St. Patrick’s Day. Residents can form teams of four or five people to participate, and no previous curling experience is necessary.

Organizers are using the Zeffy platform for registration and fundraising; proceeds raised support Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas–Elgin’s local mentoring programs. The event comes during a big year for local curling—St. Thomas will host the 2026 Canadian Curling Club Championships Nov. 22–28, 2026 at the St. Thomas Curling Club.
