Ste. Anne Collegiate in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, will host its annual Winter Concert on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Listed on the school’s public calendar, the event brings together student bands, choirs and ensembles to showcase musical work from the first semester.

Directed by Lisa Ramsden, the music and drama program holds rehearsals as part of class time and in after-school sessions. Past productions, including The Addams Family musical (staged in 2023), involved more than 70 students, highlighting strong engagement in the performing arts.

The Seine River School Division (SRSD) oversees Ste. Anne Collegiate, which has faced overcrowding: the existing campus was built for roughly 600–700 students and now serves more than 1,100 across Ste. Anne schools. The division has converted spaces such as the library into classrooms and is on a waitlist for portables. A new vocational high school for the area is planned with a tentative opening in 2028 to help ease space pressures.

The Winter Concert is open to the public, and tickets are available through the school office at 197 St. Alphonse Ave. Families and community members can call 204-422-5417 for ticket information and weather-related updates; journalists should confirm ticketing and any snow-date arrangements with the school office before publishing.
