The Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne, Manitoba, is now accepting applications for its 2026 spring grant program to help local non-profit groups fund community projects and equipment. Organizations have until March 15, 2026, to submit their requests for financial support to the municipal office to be considered for this round of funding.

The money is available for local initiatives involving sports and recreation, culture and heritage, the environment, and health and wellness. These grants are designed to help groups in communities such as Richer, Giroux, and La Coulee pay for things like community events or new equipment that residents rely on.

The application process follows the Grants Policy, which was updated by the municipal council in May 2025. Under these rules, any organization asking for more than $15,000 in total annual funding must include a professionally audited financial statement from their most recent fiscal year.

According to Reeve Richard Pelletier and the municipal council, the grants are meant to act as a supplement to other revenue sources rather than covering an entire budget. Organizations that are approved for funding can expect to receive their payments in November 2026.
