A local market featuring vintage toys and handmade crafts is coming to the Clearspring Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba, from February 6 to February 8, 2026. This three-day event gives residents a chance to find unique Valentine’s Day gifts while supporting local collectors and makers. Admission to the event is free for the public, and the booths will be spread throughout the mall’s common areas and main corridors.
Shoppers can browse a variety of items ranging from farm toys and vintage collectibles to handmade jewellery and paper cards. The sale starts on Friday, February 6, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and continues Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The final day of the market is Sunday, February 8, with hours from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
General Manager Gerald Jeske says the goal of these events is to create an experience for people when they come to the mall. Local news reported in March 2020 that the mall has worked to stay busy by hosting community events, and a November 2022 story in The Carillon said the return of larger markets helped bring more people back to the shopping centre.
Local vendors interested in selling their items can find registration forms on the Clearspring Centre website. Vendor space often fills up weeks in advance, similar to previous Spring Vendor Markets held at the mall. Those looking for more information can also contact the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce for mall details.
