Environment Canada issued a yellow fog advisory for Stratford, Ontario, and surrounding areas on the morning of March 4, 2026. The weather agency is warning residents in Mitchell and Southern Perth County that thick fog is making it very difficult to see while driving.
The advisory states that visibility may drop to near-zero at times, creating dangerous conditions on local roads. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, keep their headlights on, and leave plenty of space between vehicles to stay safe during the morning commute.
The heavy fog is expected to clear up later this morning as the sun comes out. Once the fog patches move away, the area is forecast to have a sunny afternoon with a high temperature of 5°C.
